Final us Mexico? |
am i the only one who believes the concacaf or what ever you want to call it is fixed lots of bad calls and unfair games in the end i got really sick of hearing mexico reffered to as the mexicans and changed the channel i can understand why some teams were really frustrated No you're not the only one, sore losers always think things are fixed / unfair. Go back and look at the Argentina vs. Germany or Holland vs. Portugal match reactions from last year at Y!A and you'll see classic examples (US vs. Italy too). The matches are 90 minutes long for various reasons, but one is because officials are human and they make mistakes. So it's up to teams to take matches out of their hands. If they don't, calls they don't like may contribute to their losses. It's that way in most sports. Yes, you are the only one, or at least one of few. Yours is simply a case of sour grapes! Well Mexico also got many unfair calls in favor of them throughout the tournament but the USA was helped in the game against Canada where that should have been a goal and yesterday in that non existent penalty USA won fair and square....quit crying. Soccer is full of BS calls anyway with half the players flopping around like dead fish as soon as they get touched Dont really follow football in North America, but saw a report on eurosport this morning - you can take some positives from the game - Mexico have a much better fanbase - 50000 people at the final in Chicago and the majority were from Mexico mexico shoud of one I don't know what happened in most of those bad called games, some were very bad. Perhaps they should hire better referees and linesmen... Technically if Serie A could be fixed for that many years how hard would it be to fix a tournament? Especially with all the talk on GolTV and seeing the games with my own eyes, it was hard not to think there was something to all the talk and rumours. I lost interest in the tournament after the Canadian semi-final game, I had had enough. But they did also called Canada "The Canadians" or the Canucks. I really didn't care they call us that, but I did notice they did not call the USA "The Americans". I think it depends on where the commentator is from and where they live. |
