In the world cup, if you play for spain but you are a citizen of Italy, what team would you play for?? |
i am curious about fabio cannavro? you know wht team he will represent! he played in and for italy for many years Usually players ended up playing for the Country in which they're born and raised; but sometimes happen a player have a choice between two Nation, then he have to choose one; Camoranesi (Argentinian from Italian origin) had to choose between Argentina and Italy, for instance; but after he did he can only play for that one and can't change anymore. Even when a player change citizenship, he can't change the Country he play for if he played yet in the past: so, Kak脿 is now an Italian citizen, but he's still playing for Brazil. In the past was actually possible changing Naional team, today not anymore. You play for the country in which you are a citizen of. Italy in this case soccer player I would play for italy Italy Playing IN a country is different than playing FOR a country. He has never played FOR Spain. Once you have played for a country you cannot switch. Which country you play your club games for is not important unless you get citizenship and have never previously played for another country. If it was the country in which you played your club football - brazil would not have a team as most play outside Brazil. i dos not want to play italy or spain If you are born in a certain country then you will usually end up playing for that country. You can only play for a country if you are born there or if your parents have citizenship from that country. It doesn't matter where you play because it's just at club level. Take for example South Americans. Many of them go to Europe and play in the top leagues. But they still represent their country of origin. |
