If you had to choose.... between these two.... which would you chose? |
If you got the chance to go to either: a) Euro Cup 2008 or b) World Cup 2010 Which one would you go for? If you could ONLY choose ONE? Would you go the easy route and go to the Euro Cup next year or would you wait the 3 years for the WC? Both of the tourneys are equally big deals. Some may say Euro 2008 due to the fact that Europeans play better football than the rest of the continents. Furthermore, the European players have the legacy of producing the best footballers ever with the likes of Lineker, Charlton, Klinsmann, etc. Some may say that World Cup 2010 as the world is vying for the one and only World Cup made out of solid gold. Not only that, the players around the continents will be pitting against each other with their techniques and skills. Look at the success of Pele, Maradona or even Maldini. To me, World Cup 2010 will be the 1st priority than Euro 2008 due to the fact that more International and future prodigies will be displaying their skills on the pitch in the form of Man Utd striker Anderson (BRA), C.Ronaldo (POR) or even Freddy Adu (USA) of Real Salt Lake (MLS).
