Are the Brazilians losing their magical touch in football? |
1 COPA AMERICA-losing to poland!!! 2 WEMBLY FRIENDLY-drawing with england even with all their star players in their team 3 FIFA RANKING-now 3rd which is pretty low for them 4 Club Level-The Argentinian team of Boca Juniours thrashed the Brazilian Gremio in the final They are sort of losing their titles as "KINGS OF FOOTBALL"? It wasn't copa america it was the U20 World Cup in Canada. It just that other teams are now getting better and the best team in the world is Italy. The quality of under dog teams are getting higher. Last year was just the beginning of the Italian era. They will perfom well for many world cups and their gonna win the Euro 08 and World Cup 2010 Maybe so, but who knows, they may somehow bounce back. They never lost to Poland in the Copa America- they lost to them in the U20 World Cup, but yeah I do kinda agree with you, but I never follow the FIFA World Rankings 'cuz they're horrible...they have Italy as #1 and they definitely aren't #1 Yes, that 3-0 loss to Mexico was too much. Actually Gremio made it into the final surprising everyone in the semis when they did mission impossible. The new kings of Football " Holy See." No, because they play *SOCCER* not football. I don't think they are losing it necesarilly. I think other teams are becoming better. As for the poland/brazil game, I don't understand because Poland is not from any America. Plus Poland is a decent team, and from what I've heard Brazil isn't playing all of their superpowers. (Like US) I think they are playing some younger players so that they can get the experience of playing in an international tournament. Someone please tell me why Brazil is playing Poland in the middle of Copa America. Last I heard Poland was in Europe and having Europe in Copa America kind of defeats the purpose of calling it Copa America. |
