If Zizou hadn't been red carded in the final, who would have won the World Cup? This question has been asked a zillion times and no it wouldn't of changed anything, Italy would still be the champions!! Italia even though I supported France at the time(???). FORZA ITALIA If Zizou scored the PK which Trezeguet missed, then France might have won for their second world cup title. How nice that would be because France is surely stronger than Italy. ....one more thing...Buffon was as bad as Barthez in the penalty shootout so Italy was VERY VERY VERY lucky to get their filthy cheating hands on the world cup !!!!! Italy of course. They were five for five and you can't get better than that. FORZA ITALIA trezeguet would have still taken a penalty shot even if zidane was there. so its not zidane's or trezeguet's fault. the main fault is domenech's. how can u leave a striker like trezeguet on the bench for almost the whole world cup? and he also removed henry and ribery at an important stage. so domenech is to blame The game would've gone to PK's whether Zidanne was sent off or not. Both teams played a sh*tty ultra-defensive game. And if Zidanne participated in the PK's, France would've still lost since Trezeguet missed his shot and all the Italian players made theirs. france for sure. |
