Did anyone expect Uruguay to be so good? |
Because they were.. they tied Spain 2-2 and dominated the first half. It took some time but Spain caught up. Capel scored a beautiful one... but it's funny how great Uruguay was. I really wish these group was here, they were amazing! Cavani is a scary and worthy opponent! The only thing with them is that they can be really fluctuating with form and performance. They are a very capable side and don't give up easily. With that said, when they played Australia in a friendly last month, I was concerned at how they'd go in this tournament as nothing was coming together for them and they looked very out of sorts. That's the danger with Uruguay though, they can be in a rut for weeks or months and then pull it together to produce great results when it matters. Glad to hear they are playing well as Australia has a great history competition wise with them. Believe it or not, I did. ya i know..it was a pretty good game..zambia played pretty well too.. Spain, which is a european country, has no idea of how the americans(both N and S) play. Hehe, yeah.. but u can't underestimate uruguay! Well, UAE BEAT NORTH KOREA!!! WOOHOO!! lol @valencianista - Wot last four matches? Just say ALL the matches! just wait untill mexico plays, then u will be amazed I like Uruguay because I want them to be great again like they were in 1930. I want them to go for another world cup. |
