Can you tell me the following players nicknames and their origins? |
They are all footballers, from Argentina, with a distinct nickname. What are they, and why are they called that? (eg: Diego Simeone was called "el cholo" because his coach thought he looked like another player with the same name, on the same team, but wasn't related to him. got it? this should not be too difficult, but hey, it's still fun buena suerte/good luck :o) - Ezequiel Lavezzi - Javier Zanetti - Roberto Abbondanzieri - Diego Maradona - Carlos Tevez and for bonus points,...a sort of obcure one: - Bruno Pesaola (played in the 50's/60's) Lavezzi ......... El pocho aragan zanetti ...........El pupi se mira joven roberto...........El pato parece pato maradona......El pelusa por su pelo tevez ..............El apache el es de un lugar llamado apache Bruno..............El cabezon me imajino ke por lo cabezon mi papa me dijo el ultimo lol i think Zanetti is el tata Tevez is the apache thats all i got good ? Abbondanzieri is "el pato" which means duck because of his facial features. tevez is el apache because he grew near those mountains abbondanzieri is el pato, i guess because he looks like a duck zanetti is el pupi which means little kid or something like that and that is all i know Zanetti- El Pupi because he looks like a youngster( pupi-puppy) Lavezzi- El Pocho because he is lazy or a vagabond (argentine def.) Abbondanzieri- el pato because he looks like a duck diego Maradona- El pelusa because of his hair Carlos tevez- El Apache because he was born in that tough neighborhood with that name. ayala el raton - Ezequiel Iv谩n Lavezzi, born on May 3, 1985, in Villa Gobernador G谩lvez, Santa Fe Province, Argentina.
