The NL East??? |
The Braves are playing good right now,and Andrew is starting to hit better. So should the Mets be worried???And who do u think will win the division??? Of course they should worry. The Braves are scoring runs. The only thing that the Mets can pray for right now is John Smoltz to not make it through the season. Other than that I think the Braves will be on top before this month concludes. Maybe even within the next week. The last two games played Chipper and Andruw are the reasons why the Braves are just two games back. The braves just don't have the consistent offense in order to overtake this division. They have the talent, but they cannot seem to get any kind of offensive momentum going. I feel like the Mets will run away with this division and the Phillies, who are playing some great baseball, will shock the braves to finish in 2nd. its a pretty good chance that the mets win the division again but i thisnk the mets will not be worried chipper has not been playing good plus the mets have beltran and reyes i think that jose reyes will step up this series Braves should of been leading the division by now. The Mets did terrible in June and the Phillies caught up to them from being 10 back to 3. The Braves now that Jones is hitting better and if they keep healthy (Chipper mostly) they have a good shot to win the division. But if that doesn't happen the Mets would win it and a team from the NL East would win the wild card. the Mets should be running away with it, but they are self-distructing. Phillies may just pull it out at the end. I think it's gonna be a 3 team race b/t the Mets Braves and Phillies. If I had to pick now I'm still goin with the Mets but it's all gonna depend on Martinez and how he holds up. If he doesn't perform how they need him to I say the Phillies end up winning the division. mets shouldnt be worried, they are the best team in the national league and will win the division by at least 5 games |
