Can you pinch hit for a pinch hitter?

Say you put in a pinch hitter for the guy that's hitting. Then the manager comes in and changes the pitcher. Maybe a pitcher that is better against your hitter (like the hitter is a righty and the new pitcher is a lefty), can you put in a new pinch hitter?

sure can, but the new pitcher can't be replaced until he has thrown a pitch.

yes. happens all the time. but the original pinch hitter is considered substituted for, so he cannot return to the game.
