Ive been hearing all these rumors that d lee is going to get traded and then someone said isiah said he isnt going....where did u guyss hear that isiah aint gonna trade dlee??? New York Daily News LAS VEGAS - David Lee has been a one-man trade rumor for months, but Knicks president Isiah Thomas apparently has no plans to move the team's most popular player. Thomas spoke recently with Lee's agent and informed him that he is not trading the third-year forward. If Thomas is true to his word, it will be difficult for the Knicks to acquire Sacramento's Ron Artest because the Kings would insist on including Lee in a proposed trade. "I spoke to Isiah and he said he's not going to trade David," said Mark Bartelstein, Lee's Chicago-based agent. "David isn't going anywhere." The rumor is he said he wouldnt include him in a trade for Ron Artest. Read this on si.com. Everyone is expendable in the right package. He may as well trade him. Now that they have Zach Randolph on the roster Lee is just going to get buried on the bench like he was before he started outplaying Channing Frye. Trade him now while he still has some real value instead of waiting until next summer when he won't have any real value after seeing his playing time drop to about 20 minutes a game. |
