Do you think the Trailblazers made the best decision to take Oden instead of Durant? Nah, they already had Aldrige getting at least a double-double a night. In a few more years, he could be one of the best young centers in the game. And one game last season, he went for like 30 points and 15 boards. I would have taken Durant, because they can definitely use more scoring... its not going to matter who they pick, to me greg oden is a little overrated and just like jamarcus russell he is going to suck his rookie season me yea oden just needs some time to adjust 2 the nba level Yes yeah I like what I heard someone say about another player at one time, "You can't teach tall." Durant is amazing, but he stopped growing a long time ago. Even if Oden were to never develop offensively he is a proven shot blocker and defender. That's almost all due to his height. I'm a Pacer fan and loved Rik Smitts. He holds the record for blocked shots in the Pacer organization. Rik was never a strong defender. He was just tall. |
