Will tae kwon do help in boxing?

From what Ive seen in their matches, they are always on the balls of their feet so they could move around quickly.

Im just curious.

no
I don't think it would hurt if you took both, but boxing footwork is much different than TKD footwork. Boxing you feet are more planted because you use your feet to begin the punch. TDK is obviously different because they stay light on their feet to kick.
I've always considered TKD's hand techniques to be weak. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the whole concept to TKD's kick-centric approach is that the foot is stronger and has alot more range than the hand. I've also hard that TKD makes your arms stiff. Very bad for boxing.
no not realy
I agree with Blogbaba, short and simple.
Tae kwon do is pretty useless, unless you want to kick your opponent in the head...which will disqualify you in boxing.
