Is Floyd Mayweather Mr. ESPN? |
After Floyd Mayweather's lackluster performance against Oscar De La Hoya, fight fans across America swore they would never Pay-Per-View again! Over 1,000,000 demands for re-funds on that non-fight. Should America give Mayweather another chance? Well, it may be a mute point because fans don't buy for Mayweather anyway, they buy the OTHER guy! That is why Mayweather is the champion, yet he is BEGGING Oscar for a re-match. Have you ever heard of anything so pathetic? I say that Mayweather owes us a free fight on ESPN to pay America back for not giving what he promised. Just think what a benefit to America it would be to have Floyd on ESPN. Millions of people with sleeping disorders can simply turn on a Mayweather fight and be fast asleep by the third round. He's already an established star in the sport, hate him or love him, and you'll probably see all of his fights on PPV from now on. That would be like Prince performing at your local state fair, it just won't happen. Good idea though. That would be awesome but Pretty Boy is for himself and will forever be for himself. He is Mr.ESPN without a doubt. I think people like to see this guy because he runs his mouth so much that they just want to see the other guy beat his butt down. Pretty Boy is a great fighter but please stand there and throw more than a one, two and than back off. Stand there and throw like a 5 punch combination. Kassim Ouma boring fighter to watch some say but at least he stands there and throw with anybody. Pretty Boy do the same and you will be watched by everybody and maybe start getting the respect you deserve. LOL. The only people impressed with Mayweather are a bunch of folks on his bandwagon. The truth is he didn`t sell those tickets or PPV`s, DLH did. PBF ran his mouth like he was the best thing since ALI and then ran like a little punk coward for 10 rounds untill DLH tired out. He was lucky to get a decision in a fight where he himself and his biased opinion had his opponent winning 4 of the rounds. The truth is he is bad for boxing. He lowers the standards of decency and puts on lousy fights. People brag about his so called great boxing ability when Paul Spadafora is a far better boxer. I won`t even bother to throw in the Sugar Ray Leonards or Pernell Whitakers any of whom would of embarresed him. In closing your right a boxer far better suited for ESPN then HBO or PPV. It is interesting how Floyd became the poster boy of boxing in such a short time after DLH fight. Floyd boxing style is like watching porno. monotonous and no plot. No, he's Mr. Big Mouth!!!! |
