Whats your favorite fight of all time? |
Mines has to be Gatti-Ward I, as I was watching it I knew I was probably never go to see another fight like that in my life again, especially that ninth round when Gatti got up from that body shot and still rallied at the end of the round. Great stuff, whats your favorite fight to date?? I looked behind me to see if kieran27 was standing there laughing, Nelson/Fenech was a GREAT fight one of the best action fights ever, as was Hagler/Hearns. Carbajal/Gonzalas I & Corrales/Castillo I, as was Moorer/Cooper. The Ali/Frazier fight in Manilla was maybe better than Ali/Forman in Zaire, but both were spectacular. The blogbaba's favorite fight of all time has got to be the time my buddy Chuck Arnold threw down with Michael Moorer on Emanuel's front lawn while Gerald McClellen stood there by the limo watching the meatballs. Emanuel threw his hands up and called the cops. It was in Detroit, and Mike was the undefeated lightheavyweight champion of the world at the time, not to mention the best man at Chuck wedding, so it never went any further than that, but six cop cars later it went into the books along side some of those Philly gym wars. Chuck was a great boxer in his own right, had an unbelievable amature record, better that Mike or Gerald actually, but never hit it big because of an injury suffered auto accident. My favorite fight. hagler-hearns best 3 round ever!! <3 Gatti, he never goes down. Roberto Duran and Iran Barkley 3. Roberto Duran and Day Moore I have several favorites and kinda switch back & forth between them. One I've been thinking about lately is Hagler/Mugabi - an all out war of Champions! I can't believe someone would like seeing a 65 year old (in boxing years) Gatti have to go up in weight and fight Nay-wether! That was the only time I ever saw Nay-weather ever actually fight - when he had a total mis-match. What a guy! |
