Is Ricky Hatton for real? |
Will he be a legitimate opponent for Floyd Mayweather? Hatton is very real. Strong and intelligent on answering questions, always says the right thing when asked. However he needs to prove himself with top notched boxers. The waiting list is big and Hatton will have a chance to prove us wrong. I would like to see DLH take it. It would be a lucrative fight. Mayweather probably would not present a fight like Oscar would. The fight would be a lot more appealing to both Hatton's and DLH's fans. This match will erase the bad taste that Floyd vs DLH hugging and running 12 round match marathon left us back in May.no he beats on fighter past their prime. Mayweather would destroy him. Hatton is slower the Arturo Gatti and look what mayweather did to Gatti. Hate Me Now says Hatton only fights fighters past their primes. How about Pretty Boy? He fought old Gatti, old Hoya, and old Castillo. How about De La Hoya himself? He fought old Chavez, old Hector, and old Sweet Pea. Nobody gives Hoya or Pretty Boy much crap for fighting old guys but people are quick to criticize Hatton's old opponents. I do believe Hatton is the real deal and Pretty Boy better not take Hatton lightly because he will get knocked out. Once Hatton starts proving to everyone he is a legitimate fighter no one will respect him. But right now he is ready for Pretty Boy, so I say lets get it on and end all the controversy. O btw Hate Me Now Hatton is way faster than Gatti, you must not watch alot of Hatton's or Gatti's fight. WOW YB1H8R Are you serious by saying they were still in their prime.....unlike castillo and tsyzu plus its still a better list of fagton opponents...he says he's floyd's worst nightmare dude is a joke....gatti won his last 5 fights before mayweather and looked spectacular in doing it....well atleast pretty boy and hoya opponents were names.....hatton is not the real deal lmao....he won't get knock out by hatton especially at welterweight......and moron you can't knockout what you can't hit....hatton should be in the wwf with his hook and hold pale punk ***......you actually thinks he's ready for mayweather....are you brain dead by beating a shot tsyzu and a shot castillo you think he's ready....and basically lost to collazo at welterweight....mayweather would destroy both of them....hatton has a slight chance i hate ppl who is saying hatton is the best cause of the castillo fight....castillo heart wasn't there before the fight and everyone knows it and that shot wasn't so awesome like everyone is saying.....castillo just gave up in his prime i betchu he would of took that.....and destroyed hatton....by hatton is impressive don't get me wrong but he's not on floyd's level come nov 10 we'lll find out.... Yes he is definitely for real and he is as legitimate an opponent as there is for Floyd. Looks like Marc is talking Shite yet again probably copying his answers from somebody else maybe McCormick or Mowglie this time. Everything YB1H8R said is more or less spot on, looks like a lot of the American fans who dont know much about boxing are quick to jump in and claim as soon as Hatton beats someone who is ranked pretty highly that those fighters are shot and well past their primes, What i will say to those is that both Tszyu and Castillo were top of the rankings at the time that Hatton fought them and Hatton was probably expected to lose against both by many of the real boxing fans i know that i didnt give him much of a chance against Kostya myself and i had the Castillo fight as 50/50 and he proved everybody wrong. Also Marcs argument is flawed again after Mayweather has come of victorys over a series of fighters in their mid-30s himself. In fact if i ranked Mayweathers last 9 opponents none of them would come any where near Castillo or Tszyu in fact the last real fight i would say that Mayweather was in against someone who wasnt over 35 or wasnt a complete pushover was actually against Castillo and most people think Castillo beat him anyway. |
