Who would win if the fight happens Floyed Mayweather JR or Ricky Hatton?

Who is a better fighter? Why? I think that mayweather is better but who do u think is better?

Mayweather vs. Hatton
Personally I don鈥檛 like watching Ricky Hatton fight.
I find his hold and punch style very boring.
However there are several things that he does very well, and you have to give him credit where it鈥檚 due.
Mayweather is by far the superior boxer, but styles make fights and Hatton has the perfect style to beat Mayweather, Mayweather鈥檚 style will make it impossible for him to beat Ricky Hatton, here鈥檚 why.
The thing that Mayweather fears most is looking bad in the ring; he truly is the pretty boy, Hatton鈥檚 style will make just about anyone look bad, your not going to beat him if your worried that you might not look good in doing so. Hatton is a rough fighter that doesn鈥檛 care if his hair gets messy in a fight. Nodu showed that the way to beat Mayweather is to rough him up. If Mayweather fights like he did against Ndou he will not last very long against Hatton, when Ndou tied up Mayweather, Floyd looked confused. Mayweather, while a good inside fighter, does not fight well in the clinch, against Hatton he will be in the clinch for about 2 minutes and 59 seconds of every round. In the first few rounds, Mayweather will try to feint Hatton out of position, he will be effective at this for awhile, but after Hatton figures out what Mayweather鈥檚 doing, he will simply keep moving forward, smothering Floyd and making him look bad by disrupting his timing and not giving him the room that he need鈥檚 to shine, Mayweather doesn鈥檛 need much room, all he needs is three or four inches, but he needs both hands free so that he can pivot from side to side, giving himself the space he needs to fire short hard shots. I don鈥檛 think I鈥檝e ever seen Mayweather throw a punch while he has one hand tied up, when he feels his opponents hands on him; he immediately looks to free himself and stops punching, or, later in the fight, falls into a clinch, Mayweather is not strong enough to shake off Hatton for 12 full rounds. If Mayweather gets in his rhythm, he is unstoppable, Hatton will not give him the time and space he needs to set the pace. Hatton looks to back his opponents into the ropes; this is where he can to do most of his damage. Mayweather鈥檚 style makes it easy to achieve this; he backs himself into the ropes where he slips and slides, making his opponent miss while countering. In the DeLaHoya fight, Mayweather backed himself into a corner, in the first minute of the first round, without DeLaHoya throwing a punch.
Mayweather moves very well when you allow him to dictate, but when you rush him he backs straight up with his left hand across his middle and his right tucked into his left shoulder, in a totally defensive position and not in a position to punch, he waits to roll to his left, or create distance with his hip and make you reach over the top, so he can counter, this works against a boxer but Hatton鈥檚 not a boxer, he鈥檚 a brawler and will just grab on and pound away, turning Mayweather鈥檚 insides to mush.
Mayweather fights in sprits; Hatton is a little like Henry Armstrong in that he never seems to stop punching.
Mayweather is not a huge puncher, but he wears you down with an accumulation of punches.
Hatton is a big puncher, but more importantly he breaks your spirit with his nonstop assault.
Mayweather looks to take your heart by making you miss and frustrating you. Hatton won鈥檛 care if he鈥檚 not hitting anything early, as long as his hands are moving and he鈥檚 coming forward, he鈥檚 happy.
Mayweather likes to stand in front of a guy and roll from side to side, to avoid punches and create countering opportunities, this works well against someone that鈥檚 trying to punch you in the head, but if the UFC has shown us anything, it鈥檚 that the way to beat a slick boxer that stands in front of you and makes you miss, is to grab him and throw him around. That鈥檚 Hatton鈥檚 game plan to a tee.
When in his defensive position, Mayweather leans back, with all his weight on his right foot, this will be Hatton鈥檚 signal to rush in and do his thing, By coming forward when Floyds in this position he will give Mayweather no choice but to lean, or move, further back, Hatton will simply grab him with his right hand pinning him on the ropes, not allowing Mayweather to turn back to him and keeping him out of position, all the while he will be pounding with his left hand. Mayweather will have no answer for this kind of attack.
Mayweather throws one punch at a time, to beat Hatton he will have to be busier than Hatton and back him up. This is not the way Floyd fights. He has trouble sustaining forward movement; he counts on his opponent coming to him, or at least following him around. Allowing Hatton to come straight at you, will prove fatal no matter how slick you are, if you don鈥檛 move side to side under pressure, Mayweather moves straight back when rushed.
More than likely this will be a frustrating fight to watch, with Floyd trapped on the ropes and Hatton trying his best to turn it into a hockey fight.
We know that Floyd can box, but if he ever meets Hatton in the ring, we will find out if he can fight. Source(s): http://donsfitnesspage.spaces....
mayweather would kill him
It depends. If Hatton has his way and the fight turns into a brawl, then Hatton will win for sure. If Mayweather runs around the ring then Hatton has no chnace. Mayweather is too smart and very disciplined so i doubt he would box in the centre of the ring with Hatton. As long as Mayweather doesnt let Hatton get inside, he should win quite easily. Hatton is very strong, but Mayweather is very fast and i also think hes technically better. I will have to go with Mayweather.
Just a boxing fan.
Mayweather wins simple because he is can switch his style depeding on how you fight. For example the zab judah fight he kept his hands high for defense because he knew judah would get tired and flake out. with de la hoya he kept moving because de la hoya was the bigger man but slower, so he just timed and counter him with speed. with hatton mayweather will use his superior speed to his advantage and flurry and move. haton is a good fighter but takes wayyyy too many punches with will lead to a shorter career. if hattn was getting pummelted with a pretty decent skilled boxer with speed like he was with luis collazo then mayweather should be able to take him as well
they have similar power however mayweather is faster if he can controll him and not let hatton turn it into a brawl thrn mayweather will win.
