How many rounds are heavyweight boxing matches? 4,6,8,10, &12 for title fights.12 rounds they go from 6, 8, 10, and 12 rounds today, before we used to have 15, 20, and 25 rounds. 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. It just depends on the level of competition you're on. There are rare cases of 5 or 7 round fights, but like I said they are rare. They are the same for any weight in professional boxing. If you're looking at amatuer, the official fights are either 3 or 5 rounds depending on if they are international competition or not. It depends on the fight. 4, 6, 8, or 10 rounds, with championship fights being 12 rounds. Amateur fights are typically 3 or 4 rounds. 10-12 rounds!!! |
