Who are the next up and coming stars who are in prominant boxing families? How well will they do? Chavez's legacy continues with Julio Jr. and also Omar Chavez both sons of JCC. Omar has not fought here in the US soil but you can take a peek in youtube. Both of these guys are coming up fast. The Peterson Brothers! Lamont and Anthony Peterson are fabulous young boxers out of D.C. They have their heads screwed on straight, and I believe both of them will be great champions - especially younger brother Anthony - he has real good power to go with excellent boxing skills. You'll be hearing from these kids - guarantee it! I think you might be hearing about Ronald Hearns, Thomas Hearns's son, he isn't quite to the point of Chavez Jr. but clearly they are the two most prominant families with up and comers. Neither can compare to the greatness of their fathers, but both show some talent. Ronald has solid skills, and if the weighs can match up, I would like to see him and Chavez Jr. square off.
