44 year old Heavyweight boxing "legend" Evander Holyfield.!!?

won again on saturday night against Lou Savarese and says he wants to be a five time heayweight champion and wont retire untill it happens, could it happen?? well me for one thinks he could beat one or even two of the current hevyweight champions and reclaim one of the belts, what's your views??

Holyfield is my favorite heavyweight champion ever. I was a little too young to remember what Ali did, even though I did see him fight on tv a few times. I read an article on him the other day is USA Today where he said that he had not been completely healthy in the last few fights he lost against Larry Donald, James Toney and Chris Byrd. Watching him last night, I believe it...he threw a stiff jab all night, had good movement and had Savarese seriously hurt a couple times. That left hook in the 9th was as good a punch as I've ever seen him throw! With that being said, I give him a very good chance against any of the current champions, but I think Wladimir Klitchko would be a bit too much for him because of the size difference. Klitchko also has arguably the best trainer out there in Emanuel Steward, who has trained Holyfield in the past and can come up with a game plan to beat anybody. At the same time, you never know...Klitchko's been waxed by fighters that aren't nearly as good as Holyfield, even at 44!
he is a legend but i don't think he will,
I thought he retired ages ago!
There are no more challengers out there, and heavyweight boxing has become a joke.
He won't be able to make it. He's good but his age will most likely cause problems. One too many hits in the head and his career will be over. But you never know. He is a legend.
Mike Tyson walks into a pub and sees Evander Hollyfield at the bar. He offers to buy Evander a drink, but the offer is declined as he is told I've got half 'ere thanks!

I too was under the impression that he had retired? But if not, and he wants to be a 5-time heavyweight champion as you mentioned, then good luck to him!
It would not be a shock if he became champion again. Certainly has the heart and ability. It would be a great story and hopefully then Evander can retire. Great heavyweight champ. In my all time top 10.
