Remember mike tyson when he was a good boxer? |
im only 24 so i saw alot of his matches when i was younger. i saw some of his fights on espn classic and forgot how gifted this guy was and how good he used the peek-a-boo defense and dempsey roll hooks. you know what you are absolutly right. mike was always ofered to as a boxing knock out artist he was more then that. he was a terrific defender and cut the corner well and was very technical fighter. then once he stoped training hard and got into all that bullshit he went down the hill. if he continue what he was doing with his technique i dont know who would of beaten him i dont think any heavyweight in history could of beaten him if he continuly training hard and fight to win. i thinkhe wasted his talent of what he could of been. Yes. He was an amazing combination of power and speed. I remember when he used to act human,that's before he turn into cannibalism tyson never really had the heart Most exciting heavyweight next to Ali. Exciting but couldn't keep going. what most boxing fans fail to realize is the fact of tyson ring activity before and after he became champion. tyson fought more frequently before he won the wbc title. after the berbick fight, fights became less frequent because don king was looking for one fight megabucks instead of keeping tyson active, which was another reason tyson stayed out of trouble, due to his activity in the ring, he had no time to be idle between fighting and training. |
