WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO VS LAMON BREWSTER 2 .FIGHT Prediction: Brewster by 8th round KO? |
Like I said, it will be very tough on Wladimir, mainly because Brewster won鈥檛 give him any chance to get a breather. Also, Brewster is a very deceiving, as he鈥檒l slow down and not do much other than absorb punches for sometimes extended periods of a round, and then suddenly he鈥檒l reel off 20 consecutive power punches, like in his bout with Liakhovich, making if very difficult to weather the storm. In between these bursts of energy, he鈥檚 still punching incredibly hard and can stop a fighter at any time with his powerful left hook or straight right hand. Previously, he only had a left hook that an opponent had to worry about, but since he started training under Buddy McGirt, he鈥檚 learned to use his right hand and now can hit almost as equally hard as he can with his left hook. In watching Brewster鈥檚 last three fights, against Andrew Golota, Luan Krasniqi and Serguei Liakhovich, I counted numerous punches by Brewster that would have stopped Wladimir in his tracks if he had been hit with them. In fact, in his bout with Liakhovich, he landed a couple hundred devastating power shots that I鈥檓 certain Wladimir would have never been able to take and remain upright. Since watching that fight, in particular, I have new respect for Liakhovich, despite his problems with Shannon Briggs, and feel that he is a special fighter. Wladimir鈥檚 biggest problem, it would seem, is that in order for him to beat Brewster, he will have to take at least in the neighborhood of 100 of those wicked shots in order to win, and there鈥檚 no way around it. Brewster doesn鈥檛 allow fighters to win without getting messy in the trenches with him, he just doesn鈥檛. Wladimir, therefore, will have to trade and trade often regardless of how much he tries to avoid it. Thus, I predict Wladimir to get taken out by the mid to the late rounds, likely by 8th, after he Brewster catches up to him and unloads on him. It won鈥檛 be a one-punch knockout, but rather the result of one of Brewster鈥檚 10-20 punch surges he makes, which will make it impossible for Wladimir to back away and escape all of them. Much like in his bout with Peter, where Wladimir kept backing up while Peter was constantly punching and moving forward, causing Wladimir to run out of real estate and back into the ropes, at which point he was knocked down by one of Peter鈥檚 shots, Brewster will do essentially the same thing. Prediction: Brewster by 8th round KO Klischo is a very smart man and believe me he will remember the last fight so my prediction is :Klitscho gets two or three effective punches in the first rd. while Brewster can't get inside.,Klitscho keeps frustrating Brewster not allowing him to get close enough to mount any real threat.Klitscho keeps biding his time jabs here jabs there and then in the 9th or 10th after the referee gets tired of seeing Brewster being a human punching bag stops the fight.Brewster absorbs too much punishment to continue.Klitscho by TKO after Rd.9 Wladimir in 7. TKO. If you say so, dear.... I am going with Klitschko. He is the better all around fighter. He has improved tremendously since his last meeting with Brewster years ago. Emanuel Stewart has coached and trained him to keep that chin down and unreachable against any heavyweight out there. Well maybe not against his brother who is the better boxer in my opinion. I agree with you....it will be tough but wladimir knows what he did wrong last time that fought....it will definitely be tough but i have wladimir winning but it won't go the distance.....i'm thinkin tko but wanting a devastating ko because both of their ko percent is 80+ so you know there will be fireworks in this one....Wladimir will avenge this lost....then moving on to some unification... Same as the last time Wladamir will win by KO. The only reason he "lost" to Brewster last time was because he was a sick man. No one has ever seen him drop dead from exhaustion after a few rounds the way he did before or since. He already had Brew on the floor once. If Klitchko is his old, normal self, he'll take out Brewster. |
