I would like to know:
-What Quallifications i need to be a boxer?
-I live in shetland does that mean i can't get a career in boxing?

I'm asking this because i live in shetland. And i've never knew a boxer who is from shetland and stuff like that so im just wondering. Please answer my question, Thank You.

And P.S Dont say "oooh! ur too young go play some games" Thats just time wasting..I got no time for that i want the asnwers please. Thanks =]

You dont need qualifications as such but your problem is going to be the fact that where you live is pretty remote and you are going to struggle to get effective training and competition over there, i mean i will be surprised if you can get to a decent gym with a decent trainer without travelling to the mainland and at your age that will be difficult i would imagine. Only solution i would be able to give would be to try and talk your parents into moving to the mainland. Good Luck.
Just start! Find a gym, ask around locally. If you can't find one, invest in some boxing tapes and start doing a boxer's work out, a majority of fights with people around your age and on the early stages are won and lost with conditioning. I would suggest you also go to the mainland and ask around about a gym that you might be able to go to on the weekends or on holidays so you can get good training to fix what you're doing right and what you're doing wrong. A parent or a friend doing this with you is a great resource as well. Joe Calzaghe's father Enzo had never boxed or trained before and they decided to start going to the gym together and while other trainers were working with Joe, Enzo would pay attention and talk to the trainers to be able to help his son out when they weren't at the gym. This is the most effective way. It takes a lot of time before someone is ready to actually fight, but through shadowboxing, hitting the mitts, bag work, sparring, roadwork meaning a lot of hard work, you can be a boxer.
