SouthPaw Boxing good or bad? |
iv always like the fighting style of SouthPaws What do u think when i was in boxing my couch always made me train on the heavy weights because i was a southpaw and i guees they needed to pratice on the tall skinny white kid cause he jabbed with a different hand =P (so in that case it sucks) but yes southpaws normaly have an advantagebecause the majority of boxers are right handed making boxers get used to a right handers jabs and hits. a south paws stance is opposite and swings opposite which will confuse any boxer that has not been trained on them all in all a southpaws stance and is an advantage, but only because there is few of them. being a southpaw does not meen you have more skill (for i was anything but) Source(s): ex ametuer boxer if it works, keep with it. This depends on who the boxer is. Like all boxers its the skill and athleticism that determine how good he/she is. There are good and bad southpaw boxers. Some Orthodox boxers do struggle against them. Being a southpaw really depends on or skill level as a fighter. Sure it can be awkward for a right-handed fighter who through his career won't face many southpaws but if you prepare yourself for dealing with one you shouldn't have much of a problem. Just hope he isn't really good at his craft, it could be a long night. Southpaw is great and it confuses a lot of fighters so keep it up but personally i dont like heavyweights fighting southpaw if ur not a heavyweight is ok. but also a fight between 2 southpaws can get really boring facts |
