Carlos monzon 87-3-9 (59) vs. marvin hagler 62-3-2 (52) @ middleweight...pick em? Man you are an expert on hard to pick evenly matched hall of fame fights. The number 2 and 3 middleweights of all time is as tough a call as any, and the only reason I pick Hagler over Monzon is Marvin fought and beat a slightly better line up of opposition than Monzon. Great match up but Hagler stays at 2 and Monzon at 3. Hagler by 15 round decision. Thats a tough one,,,I think Monzon would take this but my heart wants to say Hagler. One of the greatest match ups of all- time! Either one could win that fight and I wouldn't be surprised a bit. Flip a coin! I have no idea. That is a very close matchupo, I watch them both fight and when I do I lean towards whoever I'm watching. I'd say if I had to choose Monzon due to the size advantage, he was huge for a MW. DRAW!!! |
