Good question and an interesting fight. They could have easily fought each other too. By the way, I am very impressed with your matchups sir. Foster is a big fighter with outstanding power but a little bit on the mechanical side. Frazier comes right at you and looks to hit you with those big left hooks to the body and head. In this fight Frazier's aggressiveness is the major factor as he constantly presses the action. Foster lands some good shots and even hurts Joe a few times but Frazier is relentless and corners Foster on the ropes and lands some devastating hooks that floor the big man who gets up in round 8. The referee sees that Foster's eyes are glassy and halts the fight.
Although ponderous, Foster was a heavy hitter. He floored Sonny Liston in a sparring session. He went the distance with Ali, but was KO'd by Jerry Quarry. Frazier wins by 7th round TKO.
