Brad Morris 9 has a good point....BUT, he left out that over 1 million of those people tried to get their money back.
Boxing is far from dead. I love both boxing and the UFC.
And the UFC is all over the world people.

boxing is not done, MMA is hugely popular right now though, i agree. Boxing still draws huge crowds and big money, the fans of fighting enjoy both.
i don't think boxing is done, more good boxers need to fight each other and maybe they should slim down on the alphabet organizations, i watch both boxing and UFC, UFC has been putting more great shows, i also watch Pride Fighting too. People try to say which athletes are better, it's like apple and oranges they both are fruit just depends on which you like, but to say a boxer would beat any MMA fighter is INSANE and vice versa, if you tell a MMA guy not to use his feet and take down moves a boxer would win hands down, and you put a boxer in a MMA match it's like throwing meat to a pit bull, yea you can cross train but a true boxer is a boxer and a MMA guy is a MMA guy, i know i got away from the question, but i love both sports and I'm tired people trying to say which is best
