Is boxing a good sport to get into to get fit? |
Wat age is a good age to start? Im 14, but I dont wanna like compete much or try to be like rocky or anything, i jus wanna get into shape, so is boxing a good sport for me to take to get me into shape? im a big girl, so i was thinking something like this would be good for me. none of that ballet ****. so wat u think? If you want to do it only to get in shape id say know, but who knows you might end up liking it. i know you have to be in really good shape to box, i trained for a while. it would definately help u get in shape and alot better than diet pills or anything like that. id say give it a try, if its not for you then stop. Its great exercise...........go hard Boxing is one of the best cardio strength workout routines there are. You will lose weight and gain muscle. if you perform with other girl and with a nice big confy helmet yeah i think but if you like to be pretty you gotta do some sacrifices. try soccer, basketball, natation. they're fine too or if you want defense try judo Its the single greatest sport to get into shape with. I have seen hundreds of overweight out of shape men, woman and kids get into it and the results are awesome. U dont have to compete to train. The cardio workout u get is beyond anything else and u will shed fat, ur body will tone up and depending how hard u go at it u will gain muscle. I have friends theat were pudgeballs and now their addicted to boxing. Plus u will learn how to defend urself. So u win both ways! good luck. ex fighter and lover of the sweet science |
