How to make a punch hurt? |
i want to no how to make a fist punch hurt and to make it hard. You want to aim as if you're punching THROUGH the object you're hitting, not just punching to make contact. Aim at a spot just beyond the flesh and punch towards that. Trust me -- it will hurt. Never hurts to twist your wrist just as you make contact as well. Also, always make sure you're punching to land your fist with your first two knuckles, instead of putting the stress on the fourth and fifth finger. You can inadventently end up with what's called a "boxer's fracture", which is a breakage of the last two digits from the impact of a punch. I've had it, and it's no fun. Source(s): Former kempo martial arts instructor Twist wrist(turn thumb down) as contact is made. Ouch!! wrap your hands in strong double sided tape and roll them in glass shards like in that van damme movie, if you cant do that, just make sure you get your momentum into a punch and the more that is, the more itll hurt probably, also keep it straight, form is the most important part in delivering the impact, I can tell you, but I take no responsibility for injury to yourself and others. Remember, boxers wear gloves to protect their hands, not the other fighter's face. First off, curl your fist with the index finger of your other hand in the center. The finger should be held just tight enough to hold it in the palm, but not cut the blood supply. That is how tight you should ball your fist, so that you minimize the damage to your fingers, and when you hit, you want to hit with the actual knuckles of the hand, not the fingers. Now, and we're talking straight jabs here, you want to start optimally turned slightly less than 90 degrees from your opponent, and with your legs about shoulder width apart. Without lifting your feet, turn at the waist as you drive your arm straight at your target. Now, here is the secret to hard hits. Your target is not your opponent's nose, but the back of his head. The fastest and shortest way to the back of his head just happens to be through his nose. The idea is to drive your fist through your target, but here is where you also are going to damage your hand, because your hand is made of fragile little bones, whereas most people's faces are made of one large and very thick bone made specifically to absorb a lot of blunt trauma like this. Punch really hard. |
