I know Stay at Home Joe has been ducking him, but is there any word on any new negotiations??
The last I heard, Calzaghe's camp made some ridiculous offer to Kessler for a fight in Great Brittain. I doubt it will ever happen. I think Calzaghe will take one or two more fights with so-so contenders then retire before he's forced to fight someone like Kessler who would undoubtedly take him out.
Stay at home Joe has not stayed at home in seven defense,s of his world title. Remeber hes Welsh so fighting in england for him is like a canadian boxer fighting in america, its no way a home town crowd especially when fighting english fighters. He has also defended his title in Denmark, Germany and Scotland. Stay at home Mikkel has never fought outside Denmark and rarely fights outside Copenhagen also the majority of top american pros with the exception of Winky Wright would never dare fight outside america. i don't know if the fight will happen or not but i garentee that Calzaghe is not ducking Kessler, and that if it does take place i gaurentee it will be in Denmark most probably Copenhagen.
