Why have the slavic peoples taken over boxing? The top 10 HW is a who's who of slavic boxers?

First of all because they are good rugged well skilled fighters. Secondly because they haven`t been indoctrinated into the American mindset that "White men cant jump" and "The Great White Hype" that has been pushed on us from our mainstream outlets. Take the brainwashing and lies out of it and we might get some good fighters from America of the paler complexion.
because there good and train hard, I think its great!
How many of those slavic boxers are making money? Get back to me when of them does a big fight here in the States.
In the heavyweight division they are definately the dominant force at the moment but thats only in that division. They have not taken over boxing, as they have few if any champions in the lower divisions.
I really believe that a lot of it goes back to their tough past. They have not had the liberties that the US boxers have had. Most American boxers grew up poor but not compared to the They have the kill or be killed instinct, something we lack.
{Edit} The answer by [Frank R] explains what I mean .Slavics don't care about the money ,they are there to fight
The Klitschko's and a couple of decent club fighters is hardly "taking over boxing". Outside the heavyweight division the only name figher was Koysta Tszu. One unknown beat an ancient three round fighter in Shannon Briggs, and Ruslan beat a circus side show exhibit in Valuev. John Ruiz was never considered anything other than a glorified opponent for guys like Jones and Toney to measure themselves against. Holyfield was 10 years past his prime against John, and will be 20 years past his prime if he gets into the ring with a current titlest. The fight will be meaningless from a historical perspective unless Holyfield does the impossible and beats a man young enough to be his grandson.

I truly see no Slavic domination anywhere in boxing. The best Slavic boxer active today doesn't even have a title the political environment of today's boxing is so corrupt and the titles the alphabet soup organizations saction are meaningless.

Holyfield's shadow would crush most of them before they stepped into the ring, and the memory of Evander Holyfield holds more weight than any of them. They fear a memory, Holyfield is less than 50% of what he once was, and is still considered a worthy opponent for some of them.

This is what you call "taking over boxing"?
As much as I often agree with the Blogbaba; I'd have to disagree with is his assessment of Kostya Tszyu being a slav. Kosty isn't a pasty, stiff european guy. He's flexible, aggressive, and gets up when he's knocked down, and fights on when he's cut. Don't lump good old Kostya in with a bunch of white European stiffs. I think Kostya was of mixed heritage, anyway. Maybe that's why Tszyu had a fighting heart and didn't give up.

But lurking on the net are a bunch (no idea as to the quantities) of slavic supremacists. We all remember what happened to the "master race" when Joe Louis and Jesse Owens got ahold of them. I guess slavic history books omit that.
