What does Ronaldinho's hand signal mean? |
When Ronaldinho scores, he puts up a signal with both hands. It's like a Hawaiian 'hang-ten' thing, but does anyone know why he uses it? in sign language it means "love" Brazilians use it alot!! I'm frm argentina and when I was there, it's infectious...everyone uses it! its Pepsi sign,he is the ambassador well in sign language it means play. but im not sure y. might be a brazillian thing At the age of 9, his brother Roberto, who was an extremely talented player had a very serious car accident and therefore was unable to play. Their father wanted them both to become footballers and occupy with nothing else than training. So he was very depressed that his son Roberto could't play anomore, though Ronaldinho was nothing special then since he was so young. Very few years later their father died, without havind the opportunity to watch his second son Ronaldinho becoming one of the top players in the world. So he does that both-hand thing in memory of his father, believing that he is probably up there watching him and being happy that his dream came true.He dedicates every goal he scores to his beloved father. the sign is called Shaka and it means ~everything will be allright~ dinho uses it when he's happy,in one word it's a sign of joy! peace allz I DONT KNOW BUT WHEN HE DOES THAT HE LOOKS SEXY!!! Ronnie had to make a phone call |
