After noticing Brazil's recent outings, I feel they still have not found the suitable replacements for Cafu and Robert Carlos. I am feeling their absence more than ever as the current players holding those two positions have not yet shown any of the skills, not even a tiny bit, that Roberto Carlos and Cafu had. They are not even anywhere near as good as RC and Cafu were. These are the two most vital positions as not only the right and left back players play in the defense but support the strikers by sending crosses in which both Roberto Carols and Cafu were brilliant at. After the departure of Jorginiho and Branco, Cafu and Robert Carlos stepped in and did not let the world feel their absence with their speed and skill. Till Brazil can find their apt replacements, there will always be something missing in their game. For Right backs, we Have Daniel Alves, he is soo good.. and we can't forget cicinho! And Left back, Maybe Marcelo (19) could replace him.. Gilberto aint as good as Carlos... yes i think its hard to fill those shoes. I always watched those 2 to make myself a better defender. Its hard to fill to shut down defenders and guy who can kick 108MPH (carlos) and the other defender as fast as a gazelle and can get up and down the field like cafu i think they will eventually but it might take a while Brazil is now as top as ever even without R.Carlos and Cafu...As they have much MUCH BETTER players like the best player in the world Ronaldinho and his fellow brazilian Kaka ... They also have Robinho, Diego, and much more players that are coming out to be great stars... Brazil doesn't need R.Carlos or Cafu to be the top... Don't you agree?
