Is Ronaldino not on the Copa America Squad? |
I didnt see him in the 1st half, did he decide not to play in this tourney? National pride should out weigh pay I think. they took time off as many of them just came out from the long european season. No, he was left off as Brazil felt they could do well without some of their better players, ie Kaka, Adriano, Cofu, and Ronaldinho. He will not participate in the Copa America, for both the chance for younger players to play, and give him more rest time... They clearly need him now that they are 2-0 behind Mexico... Pretty said for Brazil in my opinion! He asked Dunga not to be called up to the National team. Give him a break though.... He has not had much of a break since last season....(They won La Liga last year...the Champions league...once that was over....played for his country. in the World Cup..then ...played on Barcelona's summer tour of the USA....then another rigorous season which ended a week and a half ago..) Thats a lot to ask.... *sigh* a bunch of the brasileiras aren't playing, kaka and him included. its out of exhaustion. I didn't see any of the good players in brasil either, like ronaldhino and ronaldo, sigh, oh well. Maybe thats why they just lost. |
