What has happened to brazil football team ? Why are they not winning games like they used to ? u know when i thought about it i figoures out that Brazil needs a good striker i mean they still play good football but they lack the final touch like ROnaldo's , Kaka's , ROnaldinho's and Adriano's touch , Robinho seems to have this touch but he still needs more time to get it They don't have Rivaldo anymore. It was because Cafu and Roberto Carlos were at there top form back in the days that Brazil use to win. Two attacking wing backs like them who provide quality crosses ads another dimension to Brazil's attack, which not many other teams actually have. Also a few drop in form may have been the reason too, the likes of Ronaldinho and Ronaldo (compared to 2002 WC). since the 2002 WC there have been many Brazillian forwards rising up, the likes of Robinho, Adriano and Fred. The New coach has been trying the team out, and stuff like that, so it is expected that it will take time for the team to gel. But admittedly it has taken them some time to do that. One good thing that has definately come since 2002 WC is that Kaka has definately matured into a world class palyer, and he will be one of the core players and key figures that will continue to make Brazil a powerful footballing nation. losing talent due to old age. and if you're referring to copa america, half of their big name players aren't participating. too many of its stars are caught in between the age old conflict of club vs country. but brazil will eventually sort this out. |
