Looking for good camping locations in southern missouri? If you want good spots try Bennett springs state park at www.mostate.com. That's the official state web site. You can try www.lebanon.org. That's the web site of the city near Bennett springs. I've been going there sense I was a kid. Lake of the Ozarks or Mark Twain National Forest have some excellent camping spots! go to www.funlake.com I've been vacationing at lake of the ozarks since i was born with my family. There is LORA, which is part of Ft Leonard Wood (only if you, family member or friend you are going with is part of the military), HaHa Tonka State Park, Missouri State Partk. They have putt putt, go karts, waterparks, jet ski rentals, boat rentals, old time photos, caves, Miner Mikes and Busters (dave and busters for families - chuck e cheeses) a lot of places to eat. Franky & Louie's is amazing. There is a ice cream/custard place on the main street in osage beach that everyone would love (kids&adults) The Clown is on the lake and whatever food you or kids (if their are any) dont' finish you can throw to their fish right outside the door. If it is just adults The Horny Toad always has benefit concerts. July 29 they are having willie nelson and the 22 they are having nitty gritty dirt band. there are a lot of bars. Hit up party cove on a friday or satuday night. there is endless things to do! been camping there for 19 years(: |
