What happens if a semi final is a draw ? |
id love to know There is a new method called bowl out is introduced. 5 bowlers from each team will bowl at the stumps without a batsman. The team which hits the stumps most number of times wins. Simillar to penalty shoot out in footballbowl out easy, the team that won during the round robin go through to the final. eg. Sth Africa VS Aust 8 years ago. If semi final is tied, the winner will be decided by bowl out method. The procedure for bowl out is similar to a penalty shootout in football (soccer). Five bowlers from each side each deliver 2 balls at an unguarded wicket. Whichever team hits the wicket more number of times will be declared as winner If each team has hit the same number of wickets after the first 10 balls per side, the bowling continues and is decided by sudden death. ball out takes place but a bowl out is just limited to 20-20, right. is it applicable in odi's? |
