Is it time for a TEST World Cup or Leaug? |
I know there are the test rankings but is it time for a Test World Cup every 4 years or a home and away leauge amongst the best teams every year. I mean most countries play cricket for about 10-11 months of the year anyway. My question is would you like to see it or are you happy with the current scheduling format? They have tried something on these lines but because of practical issues, its too hard to organise a test champoinship or a test world cup. Few years back, there was a triangular test championshiop between India, Pak and SL. That 3 team event went on for a month and a half almost and was too impractical. and with the ODI world cup lasting a month and a half, we'd rather not watch a test match world cup... *interesting,i agree , I too know there are the test rankings, but it is good to have a Test World Cup every 4 years... nah i think people would lose interest in cricket cause test matches are far too long. it would be nice TEST World Cup lets get on with it. boo hoo I fully agree with you that there should be Test World Cup too in cricket to decide the world champion in test cricket. very difficult |
