Why India is lacking fast bowlers like Lee, Akthar, Bond? |
India has always good medium pacers. Like Zaheer, Pathan, Srinath, Prasad, Nehra, Agarkar. But I haven鈥檛 seen anyone touch 150 Kmph. Few years ago some times Zaheer Khan bowled at 145 Kmph. Agarkar some times bowls at 140 around. But their speed is not consistent. Australia has Shaun Tait and Brett Lee in the current team. They had Jeff Thompson, Denis Lillee. England has Harmison. Sri Lanka now has Dilhara and Malinga. Newzealand has Bond. Pakistan had Waqar and now they have Akthar and Sami. South Africa had Donald, Ngam, Hayward,.Now they have Ntini, Steyn. West Indies had lots of very fast bowlers. This is I think problem with Indian cricket. Are there any one bowling at 150 Kmph in Indian Domestic cricket? in india there are so many fast bolwer are available.they are bowling near about 150km in domestic circut.but when they get chance in indian team they compromise their speed with linelength.because if anynew bowler get hammered by the batsman in his debut match then it is very difficult survive in team Source(s): sports guru U must really have patience to talk abt Indian Cricket which is in total shambles... I have posted my views below: *I initially learnt that because of our weather conditions we dont have pace bowlers. But now I totally disagree with it. Because there are good fast bowlers in Sri Lanka and Pakistan which more or less have similar weather conditions. *This is the strong reason I believe. There are good pace bowlers in India. But they dont get chances to prove themselves. "Recommendation" plays a major role in Indian Cricket. For example the "waste" Agarkar is backed up the fellow non-performing (overall recently) Mumbaikar called Sachin Tendulkar, just because they both belong to the same state. The team needs to be cleansed totally. Chances should be given to young blood. They ll keep the Indian flag fly high. because they dont eat chicken mutton pork fish etc etc and that is the only reason. fast bowling is all about strength mate recent record (past 1-2 years) show ajit agarkar to have a record as good as zaheer and better than the rest............ Sreesanth might become one Munaf PATEL quite close I think environment is wrong And everyone wants to become a dhoni, not a z. khan they must have plenty but india probarly doesnt give them a chance to prove themselve. |
