How to move all parts off one bmx frame to another?

I have a bike right now and Im planning to move to a bigger frame on one of the bikes it has a american bracket with a 19mm spindle and the other has a spanish bracket,Im planning to buy the spanish bearing kit for the 19 mm spindle, and then install it,is that all I would need? And also I need to move my gyro system off the other bike,is that hard?Im partially new to bmx so I need help from someone that is not a begginer

And P.S I have gone to my local bike shop to ask how much it would cost to move the parts but they said $120!!!! and truely I like to not blow money like that,so please help me I appreciate it

if by kit you mean that you ar getting smaller berrings that will acomodate a 19 mm spindle then the kit will work. it will require some special tools or some finness be care full with the berrings and make sure that your chain line is straight. bmx parts are pretty tough so they can take a bit of abuse. if you dont have a berring press i have used sections of 2x4 and a hammer in a pinch. a soft sided dead blow hammer is recomended. if you can find a more expierienced rider to help out that would be wise. as for the gyro, first ask yourself if you really need it? are you doing barspins at all yet? if so how many in a set? a long straight cable will wrap a couple of times alowinfg for a few spins in a set. you just have to untwist at the end of the set. if you absolutely need the gyro it is actualy realy simple it just slides over the steerer tube before you put the stem on. it will require some adustment once assembled due to diferent tube lengths on the diferent frames. do as much adjusting at the brake as posible and then small adjustments at the gyro and lever.
good luck have fun and enjoy the new frame. Source(s): years of bmx and other cycling and countless teardowns and build ups.
