Who to pick up ? |
My RBs are -LT,MJD,F.Taylor. Whos left- A.Peterson(min) Dunn Norwood-saying he will get as many carrys J.Jones L.White Jordan - not araiders fan B.Jackson (GB rook) Foster K.Jones Need RB wk #4 so im dropping San Fran Def to pick up 1 RB. What do ya think Thanks. Ok, maybe you aren't a Raiders fan...God knows I'm not, but you have to look at it statistically. LaMont Joirdan is your best choice out of the above mentioned players for a number of reasons. K. Jones is out with an injury that he might not recover from and is on Detroit who has a hard time blocking for the running game, so he's out. Foster, Jackson, White, Norwood, Dunn and Peterson are all sharring carries this season, meaning looks, touches, and opportunities for Yds and TD's will be limited. Peterson, White, and Jackson are all on horrible offensive passing teams, meaning defenses are going to be looking to shut down the running game against teams with no passing threat...further hindering their chances for production. J. Jones has taken a backseat to Marion Barber and will be splitting time at best, the same goes for Dunn (who's showing his age) and Norwood, who's line is diminishing. On the flip side, Jordan will be free from sharring carries for the first 4 weeks since D. Rhodes was suspended for substance abuse. Jordan has potential, especially if you are in a points per reception league, he's a good receiver out of the backfield and Oakland is learning from their mistakes last year by not including him in the passing game. In 2005, Jordan racked up 70 receptions for 563 yds and 11 total TDs. He has a good chance of repeating this performance with the new approach being implemented this season. He is a HUGE sleeper pick this year and will have a better, but modest season. Hope this helps, good luck this season. Eh... I would personally pick up Peterson. Take a risk with him because you already have some decent players. If you don't want to take him, I would take either Dunn or Norwood. Hope this helps. Lamont will share carrys. He will only start at least 4 or 5 games. Raiders will never be good untill porn king looking Davis leaves. Peterson,Norwood for long hall is best bet. good luck. |
