What can you use for bait that you can find in your back yard and stuff. & I have 5 snails, for bait... but I don't have enough water from the river, is tap water safe? what can i do to add mroe water. I cannot make it out to the river now, it's late. I would look for worms and crickets to fish with! I have used tomatoe worms for bass and cats as with catalpa worms from my trees in my back yard! Obviously nightcrawlers are the most common backyard bait. But also leaches and frogs if you're quick enough to catch them. Chihuahuas are sometimes found in back yards and make excellent fish bait. They are better fished with a cork. They seem to actually prefer tap water and aren't so creepy crawly like worms. i know some people who used feral kittens as bait for a trot line. those were some of the biggest catfish i ever seen come off one trotline Here is an excellent site with some wonderfull options for you. . http://www.freewebs.com/fishing-tip/... |
