How do Catfish Produce the Sqawking noise?

Im sure most of the young age(9-18?) fishermen/women would like to find out, because i do. When we bring them into the boat, and dehook them, they seem to "yell" at us with a unmistaken squeaking yell lol. I would just like to know what causes it, and how do they produce the noise, voicebox...probably not......thats what i want to know lol.

They move their pectral fins (horns or spines as some call them) when the fins move in their sockets they produce a scraping noise that is quite loud.
