Where can I find really good fishing(catfish) tips? |
Anyone know any good websites I should check out? I want to know as much as possible about catching catfish. katmasters.com and the brotherhood of catfisherman are both good sites you can get on their forums and find out anything you want.... or you can drop me a question and i can answer about anything you want to know about catfishing... is their a specific species of cat you were going after i.e... blues channels flatheads...?? anything you want to know i can tell you or they can..... the best way to catch them is with chicken liver, put sinkers on the line and liver on the hook throw it out and wait for the tip of the pole to bounce around Haha my friends live on the Canal-IDK whatever u call them and we use Fake cray fish stuffed with salsa and hot dog, or Stankey! Stuff. Good Luck!~ I have been successful using chicken livers on fairly large hook,,use sinker so that bait stays on the bottom ,leave about three feet of loose line, so that the bait stays on the bottom. When they bite.they'll use that slack, to move the bait,and get a good bite on the bait, they're scavengers, so they always look on the bottom for their food,and the worse it smells the better they like it. Good luck experience i would say fish on the bottom, and use live bait.(goldfish, creek chubs, bluegill, etc...) I fish everyday |
