Missouri They are from the state of Missouri Currently they are from Missouri as the city Kansas City spreads into both Kansas and Missouri. Before they move to Kansas City in 1962 they were known as the Dallas Texans until owner and AFL (known as AFC now) founder Lamar Hunt moved the team to Kansas City in effort to jump start the AFL (American Football League) and later becoming the AFC when the two leagues merged in 1970. I can tell you which state they are going to be in this year with questions at quarterback, poor receivers, an unhappy running back, all of your stars on the offensive line retiring, and a weak defense...
