What do you think the Vikings' record will be this year? They have an awesome run defense, and decent coverage. The biggest, best, and highest paid Offensive line to help a great one/two punch run system, as long as a. peterson is as great as everyone thinks, and hes able to flourish with the people around him, The vikings will have a winning record with the run alone. The big question mark is QB, untested, and unproven. As far as wideout, we really need someone to step up or it could be another detroit situation all over again. Personally i dont like childress's conservative ways, i would preffer Mike Tice back in Minnesota. at the end of the day i would say Vikings take the confrence. 10WIN - 6LOSS (The bears were a fluke, they only gave the headcoach a one year extension!! LOL) Needless to say, I still feel we are looking at a great season! 4w 12l . I think its too early to call troy williamson a bust but damn he needs to catch lol. hopefully getting another rookie reciever from South Carolina wont hurt them like Troy did lol. If I were a Vikings fan, I would start looking at the draft class of '08. I am sure there is a franchise QB. Maybe they can trade the number one pick and pick up a QB and address the secondary. Record: 2-14 the have the sorryes WR on any team jackson at that good they suck passing the ball! the will be a good run team.. good stoping the run..there bad stoping the pass 5-11 4 in the nfc north 4-12 GO PACK!!!!!! 3-13, because the QB situation is dreadful. They will probably be switching Brooks Bollinger and Travaris Jackson to play QB. The Running game and O-line should be good, but when you don't have a good QB and leader on offense it usually doesn't translate into wins. The two-back scheme of chester taylor and adrian peterson should work well. but it might lead to conflict b/c one might want more carries and start to complain or one might not want to share the load at all... or even both will do that. Plus they vikings don't really have a reliable receiver outside of jermaine wiggins their TE. The run D should be good, but not ranked 1 like last year, since the coach who made that run D so good last year, mike tomlin left to coach pittsburgh. I say it will be in the top 15 at least. and they need to improve drastically in the passing defense category. Last season they gave up tons of yards through the air, and were ranked 31st in the league. and they didn't make many key additions to help that cause. so in conclusion they will have a very early draft pick probably one or two overall and they'll take Brian Brohm out of Louisville hoping to straighten out that terrible QB situation. 5-11 because they always are supposed to be this breakthrough team and then they choke....and GO PACKERS!!! |
