What team have the best defense in college football this comming up season? |
Please describe and break down to why they're the best. Don't just tell me the school only. The USC Trojans. 10 starters return on D and the greatest NCAA linebacker crew ever assembled. These guys were the highest rank in their position coming out of high school. They are scary fast and can bring the pain. Rivers (Sr) Maualunga (Jr) Cushing (So) Galipo (Fr) OHIO STATE BUCKEYES, we have alot of returning linebackers and we are young and fast The "Bayou Bengals" of LSU. Cupboard is never dry lately. They simply reload with red shirts and underclassmen. THE Virginia Tech Hokies return last year's number 1 rated pass defense and number 1 rated total defense yardage wise. Theyre secondary, led by corner Brandon Flowers is one of the best in the nation. And not to mention preseason All-American linebackers Vince Hall and Xavier Adibi. THIS DEFENSE IS LOADEDDD. USC. 10 starters returning and loads of blue chip talents. They are the best in the nation by far. L S U Hard to argue against LSU. Just depends on how they are coached. Over the past few years the Tigers have had probably the most athletic teams and last year I believe that their defense was the best and the entire team was the most athletic in the country. But being just athletic doesn't win 'em all. Keep an eye on the Oklahoma secondary and their defense as a whole. The DB's are definitely one of the best groups around. The question will be can they replace the LB's and DE's with equal or better talent than last year. If so, this will be a mighty tough unit to move the ball on |
