Some observations? |
Maybe others have also realized this: Kimi left mclaren because of its poor reliability which made him really frustrated. Alonso joins mclaren, and suddenly mclaren turns into the renault which won last season. Alonso won in his 2nd year with renault, which again came from nowhere. I have to ask, do drivers have a really big influence in building their race cars, or is Alonso just lucky? yes they have a lot to do with the development of the cars, it was said by the guys at shell that schumacher could tell when they were experimenting with a different crank shaft lubricant, that kind of knowledge and feel for the car can go a long way towards making it reliable and shaving away the tenths of seconds, if you are trying to develop a car and all you get is yeah it fast or no too much over steer your relying all on tech data, and tech data can help a driver be better but it cant replace him It is said that all drivers have a lot to do with their cars. I do believe that Alonso has a to be given certain amount of credit for that. It's agot a bit to do with drivers and lots more. Notice that when Kimi was at McLAren, the cars were designed by Newey. Only this year's Mclaren wasn't his design. and it doesn't have poor reliability. Alonso is just lucky but al so unlucky as his team mate is Hamilton. i dunno bout renault though. they may be trying to improve their car but got somethihg wrong somewhere |
