How do i become a famous racecar driver if i live im a small town in a small state??? (illinois) Please help!?

well, you obviously don't know too much about the auto racing world, but thats ok. Most famous racecar drivers start by watching racing and grew up with racing. There are many small go kart tracks in Illinois that usually people can start racing at age 5. You can start with a simple motor such as a briggs 4 stroke and move your way up to a shifter. You can then move on to long tracks, larger tracks with more people and you go faster. Some people do get discovered at the kart racing level, but usually you move onto something slightly bigger. From there you could race in the Formula BMW series. From there or from other larger racing leagues, it just takes either getting your talent recognized, or knowing the right people. Just be aware that these things are VERY expensive. On a former F1 race, the anouncers said that a study found that it costs around $10million to get a child from kart racing to formula one, so good luck!

Start small. Find the local go-kart tracks. After you win there move up to midgets or modifieds, then late models...and so on and so on. As you work your way up and continue to win you will make contacts with people who will help you get into better stuff. If you suck or are not winning, then you may as well pack it up because there are a number of young racers with a lot of talent.
which city are u in and just find a person who deals different kinds of cars and race at ur nearest race track
First of all Illinois is a very large, very populous state. So work on that education a bit, then get into karting. This is an expensive undertaking, so know that going in. It's not soft ball or lawn hockey. This is pretty much a way of life for a driver.

So if you're committed, time, skill and diligence will get you behind the wheel of your dreams.
