I have an 86 Camaro V-6 and I want to put a 350 in it....? |
What motor/trans combo should I use and why? i would use a 400 turbo trans with a 350 that is what my 77 z28 had in it if you running an auto, i'd suggest a 700-r4 tranny with a 350 4-bolt....then add vortec heads. or a chevy 350 with 993 heads...good flow, and you dont need a huge carb to get good hp. actually a 4412 2- barrell is a good choice its a 500 cfm. they are a little quicker accelleration, and better mileage than a 4 bbl carb i agree with heyvoto,,,,a 350 4 bolt main,,,and a 400 tranny,with a dana rear end,,,411 gears heyvoto got it right on the money |
