Which auto racing drivers do you think are the best car handlers and why?

I read a news article once about Dr. Phil and how he was taken for a ride in a Nascar, and how exhilarating he thought it was . I emailed him and told him he needed to take a ride in a _______ car to really know what auto racing was all about. Hint, any one ever heard of the Goodwood Festival of Speed and what type of car always wins the uphill time trial. :)
(I can't say that I have ever watched Dr. Phil, I just saw this report in the entertainment section of Yahoo News).

Easy -- WRC rally drivers. In any four consecutive races they might compete on asphalt, gravel, dirt, and snow. In no other series do drivers face such challenges.
As a (ex) Brit, I'm well aware of Goodwood.

But Nascar cars can run over 200mph inches from the outside wall of an oval for hours on end - they don't accelerate or brake very fast. But for top speed slipstreaming, there's nothing comes close. You can also see Nascar drivers in many different mnotorsports - I'd have to say they are perhaps the most all-round sound drivers.

F1 (and other forms of open wheel racing) are "in the groove" i.e. you have to hit the marks to get round the corner fast - either you get the time right, or you get lapped quickly (or spin off). Nascar is more "out of the groove" meaning the driver has to work with a constantoly changing race car to find the best adhesiton, as the car slidse around (almost like dirt track racing on steroids).

I also think Nascar drivers have the most beautiful wives, of any form of motorsport !
People will probably pick someone like Jackie Stewart, Michael Schumacher, Sena or someone like those. I think all these guys would do pretty good in any type of cars. And they probably have done those hill climbs at some point. I think.
I believe that for car control World Rally and Outlaw Sprint Car drivers are about a tie as the best.
I would say Rally car drivers and CORR, cuz those things slide a lot in the dirt
Hands down WRC drivers....they face more obstacles in one competition than NASCAR ever does.
I have been around racing for 50 years that I can remember and I would say your F1 drivers would have to be the quickest for there response. The F1 cars are so fast they have to make spit second shifts and turns. Watch the French GP race tomorrow.
The next bunch would probably be the dirt track divers that most steer there cars with the gas peddle in the turns. Wide open all the way around the track.
I can't even imagine what it would be like to drive a funny car down a quarter mile or top fuel. That has to be interesting.
Before I would list NASCAR I have to say that most forms of open wheelers have to come.
I would say NASCAR might come next. Not that they don't have a track or two that shows there talented but there are a lot of tracks that are really just a timing track.
The bottom line though is everyone has a personal opinion. I like every form of motor sport
